On Friday, February 9th the Brescia University men’s basketball team participated in the ‘Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine’ event hosted by Life Community Church at the Owensboro Convention Center. This event, organized by the Tim Tebow Foundation and hosted by Life Community Church, aims to spread love and celebrate the worth of individuals with special needs. The basketball program, including players and coaches, joined in the festivities, acting as the paparazzi to welcome and celebrate each guest as they arrived on the red carpet. Their presence brought lots of excitement, cheering, dancing, and positive energy. The team has called this a life-changing experience. The team thanks Life Community Church for hosting such a meaningful event. This experience truly shows the team’s commitment to serving their community, spreading joy beyond the basketball court, and showcasing the Brescia Difference in action.
